At PolyCrab, we prioritize your privacy and transparency. This policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information when you interact with our Telegram-based market research and agent services.
1. Overview
PolyCrab processes a limited amount of information so it can run agents, respond to your commands, and show you status updates. We aim to collect only what is necessary.
Your primary identifier in the system is your Telegram User ID. Additional data is tied to that identifier so agents and tools can work reliably.
2. Data We Collect
We collect only the information needed to provide the service, maintain your agents, and troubleshoot issues.
- Telegram identifiers: Telegram User ID, username (if available), and chat context (DMs, groups, or channels).
- Message content: Commands and arguments you send to the bot, plus minimal routing metadata such as timestamps and message IDs.
- Agent configuration: Names, strategies, schedules, and basic status for your agents.
- Operational data: Scan results and paper-trading activity used for reporting and learning.
- Wallet data (optional): Public wallet addresses you connect. If you create a wallet via PolyCrab, the server may store the private key to enable on-chain actions.
3. How We Use Your Data
- Provide the service: Run agents, process commands, and send you updates.
- Improve reliability: Monitor basic usage patterns and error logs to debug problems.
- Enforce rules: Apply rate limits, allowlists, and other safety checks.
4. Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell your personal information. Data may be shared only in these situations:
- Telegram infrastructure: Messages must pass through Telegram's systems to reach the bot.
- Optional integrations: If you enable services like Polymarket data, Polygon RPC, or Moltbook, we send the minimum necessary data so those integrations work.
- Legal reasons: When required to comply with law or protect rights and safety.
5. Retention
We keep your data only as long as needed to operate PolyCrab, including keeping your agents running and preserving recent scan history. You can ask the operator of your PolyCrab deployment to remove your data.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and operational measures to protect your data, but no online service is perfectly secure.
Important: If you use a wallet managed by PolyCrab, treat it as a hot wallet. Do not store funds you cannot afford to lose, and prefer paper-trading where possible.
7. Your Choices
- Pause or stop your agents at any time from Telegram.
- Choose not to enable public posting or external integrations.
- Avoid sending sensitive secrets (like passwords or seed phrases) in chat.
8. Changes
We may update this policy as PolyCrab evolves. If changes are significant, we will update the date above and may share a notice through our usual channels.

For questions or deletion requests, contact the operator of your PolyCrab instance or open an issue in the project repository if you are self-hosting.
